After years of running from parkrun and 5km to some of the most challenging ultra marathons in the world, including Spartathalon, Badwater 135, the Spine Race and having broken the world Backyard Ultra record in 2022, I have unique experience to help you realise your running goals.

I started training with John in 2009, when I wanted to run my first marathon, and have not looked back. John has played a pivotal role in my fitness journey, offering invaluable mental support during my cancer treatment and aiding in my recovery from a hip replacement, the swiftness of which pleased the surgeon.

I first started seeing John for sports injury rehab in 2021 on the recommendation of a local Bicester physiotherapist. After getting me back to running, I started training with John to keep myself injury free and to help me reach my fitness goals.

Don’t be fooled into thinking John is just for the super runners of the world! I really do not enjoy exercising normally and, before John, had tried to motivate myself with several different personal trainers and gave up every time.
In 2017, very overweight and not able to run even half a mile, I started training with John. He was just incredible. He works with you, wherever you’re at physically and mentally, and makes you laugh while you’re doing it!
I’ve lost 4 stone training with John, he’s trained me all through my first pregnancy, and now holds my 6-month-old while I get back in shape post birth!
